VOLUNTEERING
The Port Albert Maritime Museum is solely run by volunteers, from the person who greets visitors at the door to the committee of management.
Volunteers can be involved from as little as half a day to several days a week and opportunities vary from public roles to behind the scenes. An initial orientation, plus on-going support is provided.
By joining us you will work in an engaging, collaborative, supportive and safe working environment. We aspire to make the volunteer experience an enjoyable and rewarding one, providing professional and ongoing training and development excursions throughout the year. We ask you for a commitment to training and to a regularly rostered shift, which may be weekly, fortnightly or monthly, over the duration of at least one year.
